Sunset Grill & Pub @ Seletar

Sunset Grill & Pub
140B Piccadilly, Seletar Air Base, East Camp Near Singapore Flying Club / College, Singapore
Tel: 64820244

Finding your way to this place is a challenge. Should you be lucky, you could find a car to tail - all cars heading into this old Seletar camp in the evening got to be heading there for dinner & drinks!

Don't get deceived by the dark and eerie pathway to the entrance...

the place is fully lit and bustling with customers on a Friday evening.
An alfresco casual dining experience awaits...

Our order came promptly and service was good.
We started our course with their only two available soups on the menu -
Clam Chowder & Mushroom Soup, served with a huge slice of crusty garlic bread

The clam chowder was thick and creamy, just enough creaminess to coat the back of a spoon.
Generous chunks of clams, carrots and other diced ingredients filled the bowl
- highly recommended to seafood soup lovers.

The mushroom soup had a rich mushroom flavour and the chopped mushrooms when stirred into the soup gave it a velvety texture
- Very mushroom-y indeed!

We were told that the highlight of this place is their Buffalo Wings, with a level of spiciness of your choice from Level 1 to 10. I just don't believe if anybody would ever order a Level 10. Despite being able to take spiciness considerably well, we humbly went for Level 2 half dozen wings and were already sniffing and gulping ice water like crazy!
A couple beside us ordered a Level 3 and it was funny to see the guy with red, pouting lips after devouring their spicy wings! *Heex*
Nonetheless, yes, we did finish ours, with lots of ice water and root beer!

Having 3/4 filled our stomachs with chillis and water, we shared a main course before rounding up for the night
- Hamburger; with add-ons, egg, onions, bacons, tomatoes.
A heavy layered burger - very tasty!

As the name suggests, this place is also a pub and they do have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages on their menu. A nice place to chill out and if you would like a challenge to locate this place and succeeded, might as well stay put and try out their menu.
P.S. You've ventured really deep in and won't be able to find any other food places in sight anyway!
Worth a try if you have the transportation means.
